Common pricing questions

What counts as an MAU (Monthly Active User)?

A user counts as active in a given month if they visit your app where Userflow is installed. Example: If you have 10,000 users in your database, and 6,000 of them signed into your app within the last month, then you have 6,000 MAUs.

In rare cases, where your users average more than 1,000 events each (less than 1% of our customers reach this), MAUs will be calculated as the total number of events divided by 1,000.

On the Pro plan, you add additional bundles of 5,000 MAUs at $100/mo.

What counts as an AI message

AI Assistant delivers automated answers to your users' questions within your app, leveraging your knowledge base and website, and powered by OpenAI's GPT-4.

Each question/answer pair counts as a "message" in a given month. Each plan comes with a number of AI messages per month included.

You can add additional bundles of 500 messages/mo at $100/mo.

What counts as team member?

A team member is a person with access to your Userflow account. They can build flows, analyze users and manage settings. Example: If you have 5 team members, you can invite 4 other users to join you.

On the Pro plan, you add additional bundles of 5 team members at $100/mo.

How many views can my flows and checklists get?
Unlimited!
What happens if I exceed my plan's limits?
If you e.g. want to invite an extra team member, create more flows or environments, then you'll be prompted to upgrade to the next plan. If you exceed the number of MAUs that's included in your plans, we'll reach out to you about an upgrade.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes! Just choose yearly billing when entering your card details after your 14-day trial expires. You'll save 20%.
What kind of support do you offer?
Your experience is the most important thing to us! We promise expert-level support via email, live-chat and occasional video/phone. We answer questions very fast (usually within minutes during business hours), and never hesitate getting into the machinery to help you.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time, as long as you don't exceed the new plan's limits.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. You just pay as you go — month-to-month (or year-to-year if you choose yearly billing). You can cancel anytime without penalty.
What if I want to cancel?
If you decide that Userflow is not for you, you can easily cancel your account under Settings -> Billing.
Can i remove the "Made with Userflow" branding?
Yes, when you buy a subscription you can remove "Made with Userflow" under Settings → Company. On Pro/Enterprise you can remove it from all content. On Startup you can remove it from all content except the resource center..

Will my data be private and safe?
